Our new accommodation block is nearly finished and has been lifted into place on top of our refurbished toilet block! All that's needed now is for the upholstery to be added, plus planters around the base, and it'll be ready for any travelling performers, artists or visitors who want a place to stay when coming to Rockaway for an event, workshop or a mooch about.
It's Flash's latest masterpiece with a beautiful tree design forming the rear window that Mark's son, Danny, created, and which Flash transformed into wood.

Meanwhile, the beautiful restored caravan, that was originally intended to be the accommodation block, is also in the final stages of completion with the interior refurbishment taking place soon. It means we'll have 12 beds instead of 6 available, plus there's a new laundry area and a new shower block.

All of this work has only been made possible with a Rural Fund grant, which paid for 80% of the costs. Thanks to the fund - via the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) - Mark's vision for unique accommodation has finally materialised, and we're really pleased with such a stunning result!
