DELICIOUS, NUTRITIOUS & AFFORDABLE VEGAN FOOD

The Rockaway kitchen is currently run by Marta and Myk, who create a selection of delicious vegan main meals, roasts, snacks and cakes. Everything is home cooked and made with fresh, ethically-sourced ingredients, as well as produce from our Community Forest Garden.

Here at the Vegan Café we're super excited about our fantastic weekday menu, which now includes tasty breakfasts, featuring Rockaway's home-made vegan bacon. 

 

From Monday to Saturday, 9am - 2pm, you can enjoy delicious breakfasts, brunch or a variety of lovingly prepared hot lunches. 

Our chef, Myk, has a passion for creating delicious vegan food, and has carefully selected some of his favourite recipes to cook for you.

Bring your friends, or come alone and meet wonderful new people. There's no need to book. However, if there are more than 4 of you, letting us know in advance via the contact button below would be very helpful and much appreciated.

If you'd like to arrange a meeting or a get together over food outside the lunch service hours, we'd be very happy to discuss your catering options.

 

Food is not just fuel. Food is a statement; it's family and friends. Food is about community and identity. We nourish all those things when we eat well.

So, come for a visit and treat yourself! There's free wi-fi and on cold days, plenty of warmth from our eco heating system.

SUNDAYS AT THE CAFÉ 

 Sunday roasts are usually served throughout the month from 12pm - 3pm. They are well publicised in advance and often sell out. If you haven't been to one yet, you really need to give it a go!

The dining areas are located outside or under open-sided cover, with plenty of healthy ventilation (if a little chilly in bad weather.) Tables aren't booked in advance, only your Sunday roast, so you can choose where you'd like to eat, while taking in the sights and sounds of Rockaway. Once a month, we hold a Sunday Session with music, plus an exciting array of market stalls with local independent traders selling arts, crafts, herbal remedies, clothing and Rockaway ethically created merch.

To help us avoid food waste, you'll need to book and pay for your Sunday roast in advance by clicking on the relevant image below. This will take you to the menu options, available serving time slots, and adult or child portions for you to select.

 

Once your order has been processed, you'll receive emailed confirmation of payment, plus details about your meal and time. If you experience any difficulties with booking confirmation, please get in touch with us via the contact button at the bottom of the page.​​

Join us for this Pop-Up Spring Dinner with a menu lovingly created by Myk, our fantastic Head Chef! Cost is £35 per person and you're welcome to BYOB (bring your own bottle.)
